Community Health and Wellness Day 2015 at Beltway Church of Christ
“Oral Health Care is More Than Just Your Teeth” presented by Dr. Don Allen, Professor at Howard University School of Denistry is the Keynote message for Beltway Church of Christ’s 2015 Community Health and Wellness Day.
The Community Day takes place on Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It is free and there will be something for everyone including health screenings and healthy eating information. The public is invited to come and meet government representatives, the police and fire department, utiltiy and service agencies, and community partners.
Children will enjoy the moon bounce, basketball, face painting, and other fun activities. Everyone will enjoy free lunch, the give-a-ways, and more.

Rally for the Griffins Benefit Concert – Help Fight Colon Cancer
Rally for the Griffins
A benefit concert and rally called Rally for the Griffins has been announced at the Beltway Church of Christ in Camp Springs, MD. It is to take place on June 20, 2015 at 6 PM to benefit member Charles Griffin and his family. A special collection for the Griffin family will be taken up during the rally.
Charles was diagnosed with colon cancer on Nov. 13, 2014 at the age of 32 Charles is on his way to recovery but numerous expenses both medical and non-medical have piled up. Church members and friends are using this rally to assist the young family. The family can also be supported by contributions to their GoFundMe account at www/gofundme.com/i9wmlw .
The concert will feature Chris Turner, former member of popular group Straight Company. Tucker is currently minister at Sunset Road Church of Christ in Burlington, NJ. Chris Turner’s Bio
